In our search to find a name for the company that not only signified the idea behind AWAZUNI.COM, but one that sounded unique and "cool", we came across many words in many different languages that may have worked. However, when we came across
AWAZUNI (pronounced: Ah-Wah-Zoo-Nee)
and researched its meaning, we knew the word not only embodied what we were trying to achieve with the store, but the word fit very well into our thought process.
AWAZUNI is a Persian word found in many Avestic texts. The word has many meanings, among those:
• CREATOR • BENEVOLENT • PRODUCER
however, we were most captured by the next meaning: MUNIFICENT
Upon researching the definition of munificent we found:

• Very liberal in giving or bestowing;
• very generous; lavish.
